when was the last time you heard a black man tell a black woman
"THANK YOU"
not for any specific reason other than the fact that she's the queen to his king
;sounds crazy right.?
but if you really sit back and think about it its 2010 &
the words associated with black women arent so beautiful
actually theres really only ONE word that has seemed to find
itself linked to black women; one word in particular
& truth be told its
.BITCH.
(im sorry did i just slap you across you face.?)
unfortunately its a sad but true story
how many times have you sat back & listen to a group
of black males talk about women, & wether intentionally
or unintentionally the word bitch when talking about a female
is like saying wet when talking about rain...
so my question and concern lies here ....
when did that become okay.?? i mean
to go from calling women that were intended to be queens
to your king a .BITCH.
as this dilemma toggles back & fourth in my mind, im pressured
into telling myself that i will demand more, and the people
excuse me the males who refuse to adhere will simply fall at the wait side.
i mean not to go preacher on you but NO WHERE in my bible does it say anything
about me having to be okay with being treated anything less of a queen...
ESPECIALLY when i give a constant benefit of a doubt and treat all males;
new & old
faulted or not
superman or human
right or wrong
celibate or hoe'in
amazing father or dead beat dad (wait ... pause)
like the king they are entitled to be...
not because i want to, but because its written
.& so it is.
